Sports & Cultural Awards Dinner - Thursday 14 October 6:30pm
The annual Sport and Cultural Awards Dinner is a highlight of the school year. Involvement and success in extra-curricular activities in sport and the arts is an intrinsic part of our school culture and we are fortunate that the Wellington College Foundation makes it possible for us to celebrate this at the Awards Dinner.

It is an honour to be nominated for an award and it is an honour to be invited to the dinner. We look forward to acknowledging and celebrating our sporting and artistic success with the school community.

Elite Performance Academy

The aim of the Elite Performance Academy is to create an environment of physical and personal excellence. This environment will promote self-reliance, leadership, commitment, and encouragement.

The Academy consists of one year 12 class and one year 13 class – each limited to 20 students.

Those wishing to apply for the Elite Performance Academy will need to be performing at a high level within their sport. This can be reflected through achievements such as representative honours, tournament wins, player awards etc. Furthermore, athletes will need to be self motivated, have the appropriate attitude and have intentions of continuing on with their sport when they leave school.

Year 12 – if you are selected into the Elite Performance Academy you will need to drop a subject from your original course selections.

Year 13 – the Elite Performance Academy can be taken as a fifth or sixth subject. If you are selected into the academy you may need to drop a subject from your original course selections.
